This blog was begun as an Editor's blog for Spoken/Written Bulletin S.W. - the regional e-newsletter for all verbal and text based arts. But the Editor also being a writer, performance poet/artist, storyteller, radio show co-presenter and administrator/member of The Cartwheels Collective, it was always going to cover more than that...

- Poet, writer, storyteller, and editor published online and in print in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia including in The Argotist Online, Spokes, 20x20 Magazine, The Bathyspheric Review, Fickle Muses, the 'North Yorkshire One Nine Nine' anthology published by Shutter Books (available on Amazon) etc.. Serial poem chapbooks 'The Book of Contentions', 'The Book of Indictments', 'The Book of Offences' and 'The Book of Convictions'; and latest chapbook 'Geometrica' are all available from the Cartwheels Collective Webshop - see Links, as is historical all ages adventure novel 'Porlock the Warlock'. Also 'The Dream Realm' short fiction booklet. As a performance poet and part of Widsith & Deor Storytelling Theatre, credits include the Glastonbury Festival, Cheltenham Festival of Literature, Festival of History, Bristol Poetry Festival & many others. S.V. holds an MA in Writing from the University of Plymouth and has exhibited visual textwork at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery. S.V. also co-hosts the Widsith & Deor Presents...show on Phonic FM and is script editor for the Phonic Drama Show.
